Arkansas has an abundance of natural attractions such as rivers, hot springs, mountains and caves that makes it a prime camping destination for motorhome owners and campers alike! Arkansas is home to more than 600,000 acres of lakes and 9,700 miles of streams, so many campgrounds and RV parks located on or near the water are perfectly positioned for fun marine activities like fishing, boating, kayaking, swimming and more. It’s easy to see why Arkansas is known as the Natural State, the beautiful landscape beckons camping enthusiasts of all ages!

  •  Daisy State Park is located in a scenic setting in the Ouachita Mountains, Lake Greeson and the Little Missouri River create a beautiful destination for outdoor recreation. Situated on Lake Greeson, Daisy State Park is a popular place for fishing and kayaking with rentals available. Lake tours offer views of magnificent rock formations that you may not otherwise see. The natural beauty and ancient geology of the legendary Petit Jean Mountain inspired the creation of Arkansas’s first state park and with it our state park system. See where nature formed sheer bluffs, the spectacular 95-foot Cedar Falls, Seven Hollows, and such distinctive features as Bear Cave, the Grotto, Natural Bridge, and other formations like carpet rocks and turtle rocks.

  • Devil’s Den is one of the few Arkansas state parks where you can explore underground. Many of the trails here weave through, around, and under various caverns and coves. Most noteworthy is the 550’ long Devil’s Den cave. In addition to the underground attractions, the park is popular for its wonderful views and magnificent waterfalls.

  •  This is one of the only places in the world where the public can search for real diamonds. Crater of Diamonds is a one-of-a-kind experience that brings people from all over the world to Murfreesboro, Arkansas. Any rock or mineral you find is yours to keep. You may bring your own mining equipment to search with (no battery-operated or motor driven mining tools allowed) or rent tools from the park. If you want to stay awhile while you try hunting for jewels, the park offers 47 full hook-up campsites.

  • Arkansas’s largest lake, Lake Ouachita offers 40,000 acres of clear clean water surrounded by the scenic Ouachita National Forest. Swimming, skiing, scuba diving, boating, kayaking, and fishing are all activities you can enjoy here. Bream, crappie, catfish, striped bass, and largemouth bass can be caught in the fishing areas. The park also features the Three Sisters Springs. This historic site was once the location of a private resort that touted the healing properties of the springs. Today, the state-owned springs are preserved and still open for the public to view. The campground has 93 sites for tents and RVs, as well as several fully equipped cabins.
