After graduating in 1991, he began his motorhome career in 1993 with Foretravel, working as one of their top salesmen. For 9 out of 10 years, David was the Salesman of the Year. He had a dream of owning his own motorhome dealership which came true in the fall of 2003. David has numerous years of experience in the motorhome industry which he puts to good use at Motorhomes of Texas. David has a strong Christian faith and is active in his church here in Nacogdoches. He loves spending time outdoors, fishing and hunting, and with his family. David has three children, Keith, Blake and Madelyn.

Mel, a native Texan, moved to Nacogdoches in 1990 and graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1994 after acquiring a B.A. in Business Administration. Mel has been with MOT for 10 years and in 2019 was promoted to Sales Manager. He and his wife Marie have been married 25 years and have two sons, Trey and Scott. Mel enjoys spending time outdoors with his family when he is not selling luxury motorhomes.

Ben moved to Nacogdoches 26 years ago and met his beautiful wife Shannon. They married shortly after and started a family. Ben and Shannon have three children and the oldest is currently active in the United States Army. Ben is a customer service driven individual and will do everything in his power to achieve that goal.

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Jeff moved to Nacogdoches in 1992 to attend Stephen F. Austin, where he majored in Business. He started his career out in the restaurant business and managed several locations during a 16-year span. Jeff decided to change careers in 2008 and traveled to various places as a Petroleum Oil and Gas Landman. He bought his own Foretravel from Motorhomes of Texas to use for his job and has loved having one. Jeff joined Motorhomes of Texas in September 2015, as a sales associate and has really enjoyed spending time with his awesome customers and MOT family.

He also loves spending time with his wife, Rachel, kids, and grandchildren. Scott was lucky enough to marry his high school sweetheart, and they have been married since 1999.

Derek is our Delivery Center Manager, and he has been with us for 7 years bringing 24+ years of experience with him. His specialties are in Dometic training, power tech training, and he has completed the Foretravel motorcoach technical training program. His goals are to continue what he helped start in 2004 by making MOT not only the best motorhome service center for the customers, but the best place to be a service technician. When he’s not at MOT, he likes to golf, fish, play basketball, and work out. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, son, daughter, and grandbaby.

Terri originally joined the Motorhomes of Texas team back in 2010. Terri’s background in management began in 1988 with Ray and Cathy Penn managing their grocery store, Alto Food Center, till it’s closing in 1999. At the closing of Alto Food Center Terri was hired by the City of Alto as the City Administrator and continued in that position overseeing and managing all departments within the city until 2005. In 2005 she was offered the position of Assistant Office Manager/Optical Manager by Dr. Mark Lanier, owner of Nacogdoches Eye Associates. David Robertson offered Terri a position as Parts and Service Administrator with Motorhomes of Texas in 2010 when their friend Mark Lanier passed away suddenly. Terri stayed with Motorhomes of Texas until 2011 when she felt the need to return to Nacogdoches Eye Associates and assist in carrying on Dr. Lanier’s legacy. During those 6 years away from Motorhomes of Texas, she missed the comradery and excitement she had felt during her 1 year with MOT and asked David if she could return in some capacity within the company. He said YES!! Terri now serves as Delivery Service Administrator and feels like she never left! Terri is married to Tommy and they have two children, Jason and Rebecca, and five grandchildren, Taylor, Madeline, Addyson, Brylee and Evan. When not working, she loves being with her grandchildren and participating in any and all activities they are involved in!

Eric joined the Motorhomes of Texas family in June of 2015. Originally born in Heber Springs, Arkansas, Eric eventually moved to Louisiana and back to Arkansas for college at University of Central Arkansas where he earned his Bachelor's in Marketing with a minor in English. While still a student, Eric started working at Firestone in the shop and then in sales as a temporary job. But then he was ultimately promoted to Assistant Manager at a branch in El Dorado, AR before finding his way down to Nacogdoches as a General Manager. His 26 years of managerial experience has already proven itself to be a great boon to the Motorhomes of Texas service department. Interestingly, for as long as he has worked at Firestone, Eric has also enjoyed the married life with his wife. Together, they have three kids. In his free time, Eric enjoys being outdoors: hunting, fishing, camping, and riding his four-wheelers. Sometimes, Eric will even take the family dog, Bo Banjo - a blonde lab - with him when he goes hunting and fishing.

Joining the MOT family near the beginning of March 2013, James brings with him extensive knowledge about motorhomes from his previous lengthy stint at Foretravel. There he worked as a Service Tech and on the production line for an impressive 14 years. James and his wife April have three children together; oldest daughter Ashley, middle son Kyle, and youngest son Riley. They enjoy spending time together as a family fishing at all the lakes in the surrounding area, traveling to Galveston to spend time at the beach or to New Braunfels for some fun at Schlitterbahn.

He loves God and enjoys fishing of any kind, working on old cars and spending time with his family.

Mike is one of the highly experienced technicians that came on board with MOT in 2005 shortly after the dealership opened. Having spent the previous years between 1982 and 2005 with the Foretravel factory, first on the production line then on the final inspection, and as a service technician for the last 8 years, his experience and knowledge of motorhomes is evident in his performance as he continues his work on motorhomes here at MOT. He and his wife Peggy have 2 teenage children, Jarod and Rence, and when not repairing motorhomes he enjoys hunting and fishing.

Mike began his career in RVs in 1973 as a Parts Manager, and has now worked in almost every position available in an RV dealership. Known for many years as “the Blue Bird Wanderlodge Man,” he specialized in selling the Wanderlodge by Blue Bird. Retirement did not fit his taste in lifestyle, so he came to MOT to help write articles and coach descriptions for the new website. A native of Garland, Texas, he has 3 daughters and 7 grandchildren. Mike holds a Pilot's license, a PADI dive license, and has a full woodworking shop.

Craig has been working at MOT going on 14 years. Coming from Foretravel in 2007, Craig has had various jobs at MOT. At the present time he is our Lot Manager and Rally Coordinator. He also drives all over the US and Canada picking up and delivering motorhomes. In addition, he manages the detail crew making sure the motorhomes are in great shape. He has recently tied the knot with Kristi, his gorgeous girlfriend of two years. They have two kids, Maddie Kay, 18 and Ryan, 13. They love the idea of camping in luxury motorhomes. Craig has 33 years in the RV industry and he loves it.
