November Is HERE!

Lifestyle

November is finally here! This blog will be all about top travel destinations in November, fantastic food ideas, and a few decorations that will add some pumpkin spice and everything nice to your RV!

Top November Travel Destinations

Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, Arizona

Their busy season is throughout December till March so visiting in November is perfect — who doesn't love less crowded parks? The high in November can be 75 degrees and the low can be around 40 degrees at night. There are scenic drives, hiking trails, campgrounds, and park ranger programs that are sure to keep you busy during your stay.

Death Valley National Park, California

It's the least busy during November and December. Death Valley is the hottest, driest, and lowest National Park in the park system but during the winter months the weather falls around 65 to 78 degrees for the high and 39 to 45 degrees for the low. Death Valley has plenty of indoor and outdoor activities for you and your family and friends to enjoy, plus guided tours with park rangers.

November Road Trip Recipes

Appetizer: Skillet Spinach Artichoke Dip with Fire-Roasted Bread

A campfire twist on a classic appetizer favorite! You'll need canola oil, cream cheese, sour cream, grated Parmesan cheese, lemon zest, a clove of garlic, salt, pepper, artichokes, spinach, olive oil, and fresh country bread.

Side Dish: Cheesy Brat Casserole

A great side dish combining two favorites — cheese and casserole! You'll need bratwurst, potatoes, cheddar cheese, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and a chopped white onion.

Main Course: Cider-Braised Chicken, Brussels Sprouts, and Apples

A great recipe that mixes chicken and apples together with Brussels sprouts — perfect for getting the younger ones in the family to eat their vegetables!

Dessert: Streusel Apple Bread

This Streusel Apple Bread screams all things November! Basic cookie recipe ingredients mixed with apples, lemon peel, walnuts, cranberries, and sour milk or orange juice.

November RV Decor Ideas

  • Give Thanks Pumpkin — A great centerpiece for any dinner table! Grab a white pumpkin, gold paint markers, fake flowers, and a hot glue gun to create a custom fall decoration.
  • DIY Basket Wreath — A great door decoration to send warm greetings to anyone who passes by your RV! You'll need a round shallow basket or basket lid, faux fall flowers, a hot glue gun, black craft paint, a paint brush, and ribbon or burlap.
  • Fall Mason Jars — Takes a plain mason jar and gives it a simple yet chic makeover with fall color paint, a paint brush, a stencil, and a couple of mason jars. Great for a window sill, fireplace mantle, or kitchen counter.

We hope these ideas will help you decide where to go, what to cook, and how to decorate on your next adventure! Don't forget to follow us on social media and tag us in your November travels. As always, safe and happy travels!
