And of course, electricity is a vital part of modern daily life and is another finicky system you should be prepared to fix. Bring plenty of spare fuses in case you blow or trip a fuse on the road, which is easy to do since RV electrical systems are less sturdy than residential ones.

Spare headlight, tail light, and brake like bulbs are a must so you aren’t driving around in the middle of nowhere without signaling your location.
