After a late night full of laughter, get ready for game day in Nacogdoches! The Lumberjacks take on the Tarleton State Texans at 6 p.m. at Homer Bryce Stadium. Before the game you can enjoy food at one of the local restaurants in town, have fun at tailgate, watch the the marching band and spirit groups march down East College Street, and get to the stadium early to watch the Pre-Game show. SFA is looking to bounce back after a well fought battle last against the Baylor Bears last weekend. This is SFA's first home game of the 2019 season with their new head coach Colby Carthel. It's sure to be an interesting game and it shouldn't be rained out like last years game against Tarleton. With that said, make sure to drink lots of water and bring sunscreen because the high for Saturday is 102!
After a hot Saturday night that is sure to end in a Lumberjack victory, head on over to Splash Kingdom on Sunday to cool down and hang out with some hot dogs! From 2pm to 5 pm Splash Kingdom is hosting Bark in the Park, where guests can bring their pups with them to cool down and soak in that hot Texas sun. Bark in the Park is a town favorite in Nacogdoches and this year is sure to be a hit! It is $12 per person (plus tax) and it's 2 dogs for every one person! Make sure you pack your furry friends vaccination records so that they can get into the park.
Finally, after a nice long weekend in Nacogdoches it's time to hit the road back home or stay until Monday and come say hello to us at Motorhomes of Texas! As always, safe travels and see y'all later! #OnTheMoveWithMOT
